Growing Together, One Sapling at a Time
Building Strong Local Communities
To bring our members together and make this mission more meaningful, Club Earth International is creating state-wise Facebook groups. These groups will enable members from the same state to connect, share ideas, and participate in local environmental initiatives.
As our community grows, we will establish district-wise groups, followed by taluka-wise groups, creating smaller, closely connected communities capable of organising plantation drives and implementing afforestation programmes effectively at the grassroots level.
How Club Earth International Supports Member Groups
Club Earth International acts as a bridge between its members and the organisations that can make every plantation drive successful.
Each local group is encouraged to nominate one or more representatives who will coordinate directly with the Club Earth International team. We will assist these representatives in connecting with:
- The local Range Forest Officer
- Reputed NGOs actively involved in environmental conservation
- Other organisations supporting afforestation initiatives
Expert Guidance for Successful Plantation
Our research shows that State Forest Departments regularly undertake large-scale afforestation programmes. The local Range Forest Officer can provide valuable guidance on:
- Selecting the most suitable tree species for the local climate and soil
- Identifying appropriate plantation sites
- Planning and executing plantation activities
- Ensuring long-term survival and maintenance of planted saplings
We have also found that Forest Departments generally welcome community-driven plantation initiatives. Wherever possible, they may extend support in the form of:
- Land within their jurisdiction
- Suitable saplings
- Technical guidance on plantation methods
- Manpower to assist during plantation drives
- Post-plantation care and maintenance support
Celebrating Every Green Achievement
Every plantation drive deserves to be celebrated and shared.
Club Earth International provides dedicated space on its website for member groups to publish their stories, photographs, achievements, and plantation updates. These inspiring stories can motivate thousands of others to join the movement and create an even greater impact.
Let's Grow Together
We encourage every Club Earth member group to stay connected with the Club Earth International team through their designated representatives. This enables smooth communication, effective coordination with Forest Departments and NGOs, and better planning of local afforestation activities.
Together, we can transform individual efforts into a nationwide movement.
Growing Together, One Sapling at a Time
At Club Earth International, we believe there is no greater joy than planting a sapling and watching it grow into a majestic tree. It is a unique experience that brings lasting happiness, a joy that cannot be bought for any amount of money. We want every Club Earth member to plant at least one sapling in their lifetime and experience the unique joy of watching it grow into a tree. That is why we are building a vibrant community where members can come together, connect with like-minded people, and actively participate in afforestation initiatives. Together, we can help protect our Mother Earth by combating deforestation, reducing the impact of scanty rainfall and droughts, and creating a greener, healthier environment for future generations.
